Welcome to my blog! I’m excited to share a little bit about my life, including my love of technology, my adventures in travel, and our debonaire English Pointer named Kylo. why did I title this ( my first ) post “A view with a room”? Well I was thinking about that phrase .. a room with a view and in that phrase it’s all about the room isn’t it? A room is the primary concern and the view is a bonus. Well what if the view was our primary concern no matter what “room” we happen to be in? Our view can be spectacular no matter if we are in the cheapest of hostels or the most expensive luxury suite! I want to focus on the view ( my family, little everyday gifts from God, the beauty all around us ) instead of just the “room” that I am in at any given time in life!
First of all, let’s talk tech. The industry is constantly evolving, and it’s always a thrill to see what new innovations are on the horizon. But let’s be real: sometimes the tech world can be a little dry. That’s why I like to inject a little bit of humor whenever I can. For example, have you heard about the new virtual reality headset that lets you experience what it’s like to be stuck in a Zoom call for hours on end? It’s called the “Quarantine Simulator.” HAHA
Next up: travel. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit some amazing places around the world, and I always try to bring my camera along to capture the sights. But as much as I love exploring new cultures and trying new foods, my Favorite is Thailand, it’s a beautiful place where I met my beautiful wife!
And of course, no blog post would be complete without mentioning my beloved dog Kylo. He’s a rescue pup with boundless energy and a love for treats that knows no bounds. I’ve learned a lot from Kylo over the last year and a half including the importance of loyalty. Even when those who say they love you turn their back on you .. a dog is always there to love you.
