Hi everyone, I’m Scott Andrew Alpaugh and I know I usually blog about IT and health related stuff, sprinkled in with stuff about English Pointers like my dog Kylo but, today I want to share with you some of the places I would like to travel to in the future. I have always loved exploring new cultures, landscapes and cuisines, and I have a long list of destinations that I dream of visiting someday. Here are some of them:
– Japan: I have always been fascinated by Japan’s rich history, modern technology and diverse scenery. I would love to see the cherry blossoms in spring, visit ancient temples and shrines, experience the neon lights and skyscrapers of Tokyo, and taste the delicious sushi and ramen. I would also like to learn more about the Japanese culture and traditions, such as tea ceremony, origami and anime.
– New Zealand: New Zealand is a paradise for nature lovers like me. It has stunning mountains, lakes, glaciers, volcanoes and forests that offer endless opportunities for hiking, biking, skiing and kayaking. I would also like to see the wildlife of New Zealand, such as kiwis, penguins and whales. And of course, I would not miss the chance to visit the Hobbiton movie set from The Lord of the Rings trilogy.
– Italy: Italy is a country that has it all: art, history, architecture, food and wine. I would love to explore the iconic cities of Rome, Venice and Florence, admire the masterpieces of Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, marvel at the Colosseum and the Vatican City. But I would also like to discover the lesser-known gems of Italy’s countryside: charming villages perched on hillsides or along coastlines; vineyards producing world-class wines; olive groves producing golden oil; cheese factories producing mouth-watering mozzarella.
These are just some of the places I would like to travel to someday. Of course there are many more on my bucket list: France Spain Greece Morocco Egypt Brazil Argentina Australia…the list goes on! What about you? What are your dream destinations? Let me know in the comments below!
